Rhandalee Hinman, SPHR
Rhandalee Hinman, Hinman and Associates Wichita Kansas Rhandalee has over thirty years of experience in the field of Human Resources with the last fifteen years in consulting. After completing her business degree in Human Resources from Wichita State University, she went to work for Fourth Financial Corporation. There she held a variety of positions that included Compensation Analyst, EEO and Affirmative Action Officer, Payroll Manager, Human Resources Operations Manager and finally Vice President of Human Resources Information Services. From the Fourth Financial Corporation, Rhandalee went to Insurance Management Associates, where she developed their consulting group.

In her consulting role, she provides her expertise as a generalist, prepares employee and management handbooks, assists with employee relation issues, provides the human resources audits and advises on records retention schedules.

Executive Management support and human resources strategic development are two areas of expertise. As an entrepreneur she has experienced the difficulties in managing small business. Business owners can turn over the multitude of employment law compliance issues, strategies for reorganization and organizational development and feel comfortable knowing these issues are being managed by a professional.

As an Expert Witness for the defense, Rhandalee has analyzed the employment practices of Wichita employers by providing testimony, written reports and depositions to support employers through litigations issues.

Rhandalee has developed compensation systems from the ground up. Job descriptions, FLSA analysis, salary surveys, executive incentive/bonus plans, manpower planning and budgeting are a few of her experiences.

Her role as EEO and Affirmative Action officer provided the opportunity to experience OFCCP audits and to develop compliant plans to insure against EEOC claims. In her consulting role she has supported clients as they prepare for audits and Department of Labor reviews.

Wendy Pollman, PHR, SHRM-CP
Wendy Pollman Wendy is an accomplished human resource professional that brings to us over twenty years of specialized experience.  She has held support roles in both the private sector as well as non-for-profit agencies.  Since joining the team in 2004, she has gained experience working as a consultant for small business in various industries.  She is currently certified at the PHR (Professional Human Resource) level by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) as well as a Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP).  These credentials signify her mastery of the body of knowledge associated with human resource management, which includes training and development, compensation and benefits, health, safety and security, employee and labor relations, and management practices.  She is an active member with both the National and Wichita Chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management and has previously served on the Wichita Education Awareness Board, SHRM State Conference Board, the Wichita Chapter of SHRM, as well as advisory board positions for local schools and churches.   

Whitney HeinenWhitney Heinen

Whitney has seven years of experience in supervisory and human resource roles.  She came to us through an internship from Wichita State University. During her employment, she has earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management and minor in Sociology. She is currently pursuing her PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification. She is a member of both the national and local SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) chapters and previously served as the President and Vice President of the Wichita State University chapter of SHRM.

Brittany BalkBrittany Balk

Brittany has been a member of the Hinman and Associates team since May 2015. She completed an internship with Hinman and Associates during the summer/fall of 2015 and began working full time after she graduated in December. While at Hinman and Associates she has been trained in benefits administration, record retention, training and development, onboarding, job description creation, employment law, process improvement, and compensation.

Brittany received a Bachelor in Business Administration degree from Wichita State University (WSU)—majoring in Human Resource Management and minoring in Psychology and Management. She graduated magnum cum laude and held several positions in the WSU student chapter of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), including President, Vice President and Programs Chair. She is currently an active member of the Wichita professional chapter of SHRM and of the Young Professionals of Wichita (YPW) organization.

Brittany Balk
Clare Busby

Clare is the Human Resources Administrator for Hinman and Associates. She is agraduate of Bishop Carroll High School and is currently a part-time college student. She grew up as the daughter of small business owners and understands the challenges our clients face particularly when it comes to recruitment and staffing. She often had to step in and fill various roles in her family’s business and she brings that flexibility and positive attitude to our clients as she handles a variety of administrative responsibilities for multiple Hinman and Associate clients.
